Securing your account with two-factor authentication

Back to Help Center

Two-factor authentication is an extra layer of security that helps prevent intruders from gaining access to your Robin AI account if they get a hold of your password.

Once two-factor authentication is enabled for your organisation, we require a secondary authorisation code from your third party authentication application such as Authy, Google Authenticator,  Microsoft Authentication etc to log into Robin AI.

You will need to set up two-factor authentication for your account the first time you log in, and continue to use your authenticator app to generate an authorisation code each time you log in.

To set-up your two factor authentication for your account follow these steps:

  1. Open you authenticator app and tap the + button.
  2. Tap Scan a QR Code.
  3. Hold the camera up to the QR code displayed on Robin AI. Your phone will automatically recognise the QR code.
  4. Enter the latest six-digit code generated by your authenticator app into the Authentication Code field within Robin AI. Note that these codes are regenerated every few seconds, so make sure you enter the most recently generated code.
  5. Click Join Robin/Submit and you will be successfully logged into  Robin AI platform.
